I chose this hotel for attending a networking event and I was impressed by the availability of 2 meeting rooms for events. The business center and express check-in were convenient for my work needs. The conference room and cigar lounge provided a professional atmosphere for business meetings. the hotel's amenities were well-suited for my work purposes.

The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated coworking space. It would have been beneficial to have a designated area where I could work and collaborate with others, especially during the networking event.

I have booked the Hotel Illuster for myself and 3 other people (customers of ours). The lady at the reception was extremely rude and dispatched us wirsch. Although the customers did not speak German I was asked after the check-in "why was this lady so unpolite? We were also astonished that the bill for the room (160 SFr) is to be paid immediately. When I asked if I could get a big bottle of mineral water I was told snippily that "here in Switzerland the water from the tap is of excellent quality" and that I should drink it. Interesting was also the hint that after 22.00 the entrance door could only be opened with a code, the customer who did not know this code and would have to use the bell accordingly would be fined 50SFr. At breakfast the next morning there were only four of us, nevertheless we were not served, but the lady tried hard to set up all tables again, customers were ignored. It seems as if this hotel is trying to go through their processes without taking the customer into consideration, this is unfortunate as the hotel itself, the rooms are attractive.

Central location of hotel, close to train station

We had a fantastic stay at a very good hotel in the centre of Uster. The location was perfect, with easy access to all local services and shops. The hotel rooms were well-appointed, with comfortable beds and a good working desk. The balcony had a great view and we enjoyed watching the rooftops and storks in the distance. The breakfast was ample and served early, which was convenient for our plans. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the manager who gave us great tips for sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and convenient stay in Uster.

I liked the spacious rooms and friendly staff. There is more than enough room to fit a baby's cot. The bed is extremely comfortable.

More attention should be paid to ensure that the bathrooms are sparkling clean!

Hotel is refreshing the rooms and I had a new room.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was lovely, with a huge window that offered stunning views of the town and snowy mountains in the background. The staff were excellent, going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The location couldn't have been better, just a 3-minute walk to the train and bus stations, and right in the center of everything.

The breakfast could have been improved by offering more variety.

Almost vintage equipment and furnitures. Like in 70's. I didn't check pictures before booking - thats my fault.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Illuster in Uster for a business trip. The hotel's central location was perfect for my appointments and I also enjoyed being just a short ride away from the beautiful Greifensee lakeside. The renovated rooms were clean and comfortable, with a good working desk and reliable WiFi. The hotel's breakfast was delicious and served early, which was convenient for my early starts. The parking under the hotel was also very convenient and reasonably priced. a great stay.

I spent a couple of days in this hotel and it really did suit me because of the great location, Uster train station is just around the corner. The crew is really nice. The bulding is clean and comfy.

I always stay at this hotel when I visit Uster. The staff is helpful and once they recommended great local delivery. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, luggage storage, bar, restaurant, fitness center, spa. Can't wait to come back for my next trip!

We loved the central location of this hotel, conveniently close to the train station and in the heart of the city center. Transportation was easy! The facilities were clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating!

The hotel lacked amenities such as a doorman or porter, and the staff had inconsistent mood swings. Some were friendly and attentive, while others were rude.
